Life After Hurricane Irma
It is Day 11 after the unwanted visit of Hurricane Irma to the Naples area and we are recovering fast and well. Each day we take one more step back to normal life.
The good news:
Our structures held up incredibly well, in general we have seen screen damage and pool cage damage, some roof tile damage and lots of tree and horticulture damage.
Our stringent building codes came into their own and most homes built after the new building code changes since Hurricane Andrew were undamaged.
Schools return to normal September 25,2017
The boil water notice has been lifted.
97% of power has been restored, thank you to all the amazing linemen that have come to our County to assist from all over the US.
